This month we have two blocks to get in thirteen for the year and not lap over into January. One is a familiar flower and the other is not, but it starts with S. I just loved the simplistic look of it. I decided to use blue, rather than lavender for my flowers. It may just have been the photo itself, that made them look that dark.
Here is the May block from Mary H. Notice, she got the stamen right! She really knows how to pick fabric colors.Anyone else out there with finished blocks? We don’t care if they are from last year, we would all love to see them because they are an inspiration to others.
To all the EQer’s out there, if you missed the EQ7 designs of Block of the Month for 2015 and 2016, I am planning to make each year available, as well as past appliqué blocks of the month. These would be downloads for a very low cost. If you are interested please comment below. If there is enough interest I will go ahead with my plans.
At first, I thought I would put the designs on a CD but then realized since I am a MAC user and many of you are PC users, so there might be compatibility issues. Then there is postage and sending to those overseas. I just have to figure out how to do paid downloads, since I have never had those kinds of downloads from my website before.
