Have any of you been through a move after living in one place for close to 30 years? Omigosh, I cannot believe what I am finding! Things I haven’t looked at for 20 years or more, tucked away in the attic or an upper closet. The kitchen in the new house is half the size of this one, so there is more stuff going away. We are going to have a huge estate sale! The local thrift shops are also going to benefit!
I had hoped to post more of my fabrics that I need to destash, but I just ran out of time, maybe next month. Some of the reds are still available, so check it out here.
I hope you like the Whirling Stars block. Do you see two stars whirling in opposite directions? I do.
When I designed it, I intended to use some of my Sewfasst® Techniques for it, but they don’t quite work, so just follow the steps on the last page of the pattern. I have to put on my thinking cap and see if I can figure something out.
Hopefully, once this move is accomplished I can return to my quilting projects. That is something I long to return to, especially my appliqué!

Remember the free version goes away at the end of the month! I also have some online classes coming up!

Yes, I moved last year after 36 years in one home. It’s still a work in progress! This is actually the first time ever that my sewing room is mostly in one room, not stuff stashed in different rooms though, and I do need to clear stuff out.
I have no idea where I am going to be doing my quilting! I thought I did, but that won’t work. Yes, it definitely will be a work in progress!
