By now you know I like a road trip, so I get some handwork done! Why is that? Can’t sit for long at home, look around and see all that needs to be done, so I set my handwork aside.
If you are wondering why I am talking about “road” trips, read on!
Got involved in something new, for me, and that is a sew along. Patterns and prizes will be available to all participants. The name of this is called the “Road Home” Row Along and the link on the right will take you to a better explanation and all the other designers.Instead of a block we were challenged to do a row. Here is a little bit of my row, just to tease you. The row is 12″ tall and 40″ wide. Mine is the Road to Tehachapi, because this is what you see along the highway from Bakersfield to Tehachapi. If you are familiar with Tehachapi, you might already know what that might be. If you Google Tehachapi images, the majority of the images also might give you a hint!
So between working on the block of the month I designed this row. It was so much fun! On the right you will see the link to the “Road Home Row Along.”
