  • Starting off!

A glance from my studio window.  This view reminds me of a Currier and Ives print, whether it is winter, spring, summer or fall.  All that is missing is a horse and buggy.  We had a beautiful white Christmas.  We also had a white Thanksgiving, which is very unusual for us.

How many of you have made New Year’s resolutions last night?  Resolutions are always fun to make, but the hard part is sticking to them.  That is my problem!  This year I am determined, not making resolutions, just determined to finish more of my projects which I am going to share with you.

Rather than a new block each month, it will more or less monthly and bi-monthly projects; kind of like last year.  So I am calling it a Quilt Along,  hopefully, you will quilt along with me!   Not that you could get it done in a month or two, at least I won’t, but we can get started!

Maybe this first one should be called a Mystery Quilt since I am only showing you the center.  It probably looks familiar, it is a block from March 2018 and a daisy was used in last year’s spring wallhanging.  However, the rest of the quilt is patchwork with applique borders, which you will see next month.
