Snow Crystals Applique

The photos show several ways of displaying an appliqué of Snow Crystals, just a handful of the ones found on my hand appliquéd quilt, below on the left, that was on the cover of Quilter’s Newsletter Magazine January 1999.  You can read more about it in My Favorite Quilts.  

The other one below on the right has iron-on, machine-appliqued snowflakes.  After ironing on the snowflakes, I went wild with machine quilting using shiny filament around the edges of each snowflake.
