I Spy and Scrappy Stars

My love of Half Square Triangles and my SewFasst® techniques led me to develop this non-template method to make these stars.  No templates and not a single triangle to cut and sew!  No excess seaming either.  The border triangles are made, as the Star Points are sewn, saving time and effort.

I also made bed quilts with these techniques for my granddaughters.  It is the same design as the patriotic quilt to the right, but is made with a different theme fabric in the center of each star, and only two green fabrics.  Same techniques, larger star.
