Challenging 96″x96″ quilt

This is a very traditional combination of blue and white, accomplished with both appliqué and piecing.  It would be special in red and green, too.  By using different fabrics of the same blue values, the quilt takes on depth and richness.

This quilt was designed for the Glendale Quilt Guild to raise funds to support all of their philanthropic quilting projects.
